By default this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers. Visiting it sends us nothing beyond the standard server request logs kept by our hosting provider.
The one optional exception: a small banner may ask whether we can use Google Analytics to understand which pages help. Nothing loads unless you choose “Allow”; declining (or ignoring the banner) keeps your visit tracker-free, and we remember your choice in your browser only. If you allow it, Google Analytics — a Google LLC service, operated from the United States — records the pages you view with a shortened IP address; we use it for aggregate page statistics and nothing else.
The form on our home page asks for three things: your brand name, your website, and an email address for the report. We use them only to hold your place on the early-access list, run the free check you asked for, and write back to you about it. We don’t add you to mailing lists, and we don’t share or sell your details to anyone. Ask us and we’ll delete your entry.
Those submissions reach us through Formspree, a form-delivery service that receives them and passes them on to us. It processes them on our behalf and for nothing else. Formspree is operated from the United States, so this involves a transfer of your details outside the EU.
Email we send — the report you asked for, and service alerts if your brand is under our watch — is delivered through Resend, an email-delivery service that processes the recipient address on our behalf and for nothing else. Resend is operated from the United States, so delivery involves a transfer of your email address outside the EU.
If you write to hello@behindlink.com, we keep your email and use it only to run and discuss the scan or service you asked about. We don’t add you to mailing lists, and we don’t share or sell your details to anyone.
BehindLink monitors public sources — certificate-transparency logs, ad-transparency libraries, search results, and the open web — for impersonations of the brands we watch. We monitor brands, not people: we do not collect data about your customers or users.
Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time what personal data we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Write to hello@behindlink.com.
